Tweco's new MagSwitch ground clamps present a simplified grounding solution for use on any ferrous surface. Better than conventional magnetic grounds, MagSwitch can be easily cleaned so it won’t carry debris and other particles which degrade the quality of the arc and damages your work surface.

MagSwitch advantage over Magnetic Ground Clamps: The key difference is that you can turn MagSwitch on and off. It can be easily released from metal surfaces and can be quickly cleaned and wiped free of metallic debris.

MagSwitch advantage over Spring Loaded Ground Clamps: Spring loaded ground clamps require the welder to find a clamp point on the edge of the plate. If a connection point is not available near the weld location, the welder must weld a tab, remove, grind and clean off the tab area. This method is inconvenient and costly in terms of time and labor. The MagSwitch simple on/off design allows the magnet to be placed near the weld, removed and cleaned easily.
